This 20 hour study programme is all 6 modules put together as one complete programme offered at half the cost of the separate modules. It has been created as a foundation equestrian theory programme for equine paraprofessionals and competition riders that want to ultimately address the horse saddle and rider as a combination. Completion certificates can be requested at the end of the course (or part way through for part completion).
Beginning with descriptions and demonstrations of the components of the horse and rider kinetic musculoskeletal system, lecture content is highly applied so that the learner will soon be practising horse and rider saddle fit checking principles, with relevant knowledge of the living bodies that lie above and beneath the saddle. All presentations form a spiral learning experience towards the ultimate goal of proficient postural reasoning in the assessment and preparation of the modern sport horse and pony, together with their saddles and riders, for sustainability of the competition partnership.
This module consists of 40 lecture presentations, each with downloadable diagrams for the learner to keep as memory aids, together with a short knowledge test. Learners are directed to also complete the 3 hour Equine Vocational Study Skills module which is free to participate in.

Where suggestions for independent study have been put forward, it is assumed that the learner is competent at handling a variety of horses and ponies and that they take full responsibility for selecting compliant horses to work on, implementing protocol to keep themselves safe from injury risk throughout tasks.
